Food

The hostel has breakfast only for groups.

In the village (300 meters) is a summer kiosk at the beach. There are some hot food.

The nearest grocery stores south ICA grocery bag in Lödöse (12 km) and is open 9-20 days and to the north TEMPO located in Upphärad and is open Monday-Saturday 10-19 and Sunday 10-17.

accommodation

The hostel has a main house with five bedrooms, large dining room, fully equipped kitchen and a small lounge with a library. There is also an annex with four bedrooms and a kitchen. The bedrooms have between 2 and 6 beds.

History

The main building was built by Chief Engineer Danieli 1911. This house became in 1938 a holiday home for housewives who came and rested up to two weeks during the summer. 1941 built annexe which, among other things, established a bakery. There was a housekeeper and a couple of maids to keep order. This holiday mistress continued until 1974 when the buildings became community center and a hostel. Today is the hostel from mid-May to early September and the community center during the remainder of the year.
